US REVENUE MARINE CUTTER GOLDEN GATE |
||
Now here's an interesting and attractive subject. Based on a turn of the century steam tug design, the U.S. Revenue Marine Cutter Golden Gate served throughout her career at San Francisco, Calif. She was built in 1896 and was 110' in overall length. The plans come on two sheets with Sheet #1 showing the Outboard Profile. Sheet #2 is extra long and shows the inboard profile, Hull Lines, 7 Cross Sections, Main Deck and Hold. The plans are drawn in 1/48 scale (1/4"=1') and give a hull length of 27.5" overall.
