HMS SWIFT

Designed as a special Flotilla Leader her size was not approached in the Navy until 1937.She was unusual in having four shafts. In 1916-17 she was altered by having her two foc'sle 4' guns replaced by one 6", the heaviest gun ever mounted on a British Destroyer. ( Hull Length 22"). 1908-16 appearance.
