HMS RODNEY

Together with her sister NELSON they were the only 16" gunned British battleships, their armament being concentrated forward in three triple turrets. RODNEY served with the Home Fleet 1939-42, Force 'H' 1943 and the Home Fleet 1943-45. She was present at the sinking of the BISMARCK and it was chiefly her fire which battered that vessel to a wreck.
