HMS REPULSE

The first British battlecruiser to carry 15" guns. REPULSE was almost identical to her sister RENOWN when they were completed. She had various refits throughout her life but was not reconstructed like RENOWN. REPULSE served with the Home Fleet 1939-41, and was then sent to join the Eastern Fleet in company with PRINCE OF WALES - both were sunk by Japanese aircraft 10th December 1941.
