13.5" gunned Battlecruiser, a half-sister to LION and PRINCESS ROYAL. She was distinguished from these ships by her rounded centre funnel - the others were flat sided. In 1914 she was part of the 1st Battlecruiser Squadron and was lost at Jutland when she came under fire from SEYDLlTZ and DERFFLINGER and was sunk when her magazines blew up after hits to '0' Turret and forward.
