L' Class Destroyer. Originally all this class were designed to carry three twin 4.7" MK XX mountings, but due to production delays LANCE, LARNE, LEGION and LIVELY were completed with four twin 4" MK XIX mountings. ( Hull length 22.5/8") All four of these ships were sunk in the Mediterranean during 1942.Ship as in 1942 appearance.
