US74’ US ARMY ST CLASS HARBOR TUG

A jaunty tug with similar hull form to it’s bigger and more well known brethren, the 85 footers.

These were 400 h.p. vessels, designed to move war material.  The 74’ ST Plans show full general arrangement details plus sheets for the hull lines, stern frames, shafting arrangement/details, cant frames and the mid-ship section.  A total of 63 units were built during WW II.
