Ft. Armstrong worked for the Rock Island District on the Upper Mississippi River. Later, worked on the Ohio River. Eventually sold at public auction to private owners. The Ft. Armstrong's hull is still afloat, used as a barge by Madison Coal & Supply, Charleston, W. VA. Model size: 27 1/2'' long by 5 1/4'' beam.
